Summary: The Videographer/Video Editor is responsible for recording and editing videos and company events as needed. This will include videos for foundational assets (product showcase videos, assembly videos, etc.) as well as videos to promote products and support marketing. Company event examples include key meetings, tradeshows, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce high quality, consistent videos of KidKraft products in studio and other outside locations for foundational assets, marketing and social content.
Ensure the brand aesthetic is successfully translated into high quality visual assets.
Use working knowledge of appropriate lighting, lenses, video, video editing, and other equipment to obtain optimal results.
Edit and accurately name and archive digital asset files.
Visual story telling; Lead the management of video products from planning to final delivery; working with cross functional team members, including marketing, and other marcom members.
Establish and maintain successful work relationships with those contacted in the performance of this position.
Work with models in a friendly and professional manner; must be comfortable working with children.
Work in a team environment as well as independently with little direct supervision.
Capable of multi-tasking; able to manage and prioritize workload efficiently.
Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Adapt and react quickly to changing schedules and environments.
Other duties as needed.


3+ years experience in consumer products visuals (studio and outdoor)
Bachelor degree in Media Arts, Film, Video Production or related field
In depth knowledge of Camera Operation, Editing, After Effects, Script Writing/Adaptation, DVD authoring
Must be familiar with Final Cut Pro and authoring software or similar
Must have a basic understanding of audio and video patch panels, vector scope and waveform monitors to verify proper distribution, video levels and color balance
Knowledge of codecs for various types of multimedia distribution. Basic understanding of tapeless workflows and High Definition (HD) camera and editing systems helpful
Must have a positive attitude, show initiative, and possess excellent problem-solving skills
Must have good auditory and visual acuity
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment under tight deadlines
Must be able to perform the physical tasks necessary to perform videography work such as moderate lifting and carrying of video equipment; standing or sitting for long periods of time; working in a wide range of weather conditions
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25lbs
Work outside normal hours may be required, including some weekend
