About me:

Hi there! My name is Jessica Morgan and I'm currently an intended Applied Math major at the University of California, Berkeley. Math has always been my favorite subject and my understanding of the subject has enabled me to help other students as a private tutor. I scored a 1520 on the SAT (790 on the math portion), a 5 on the Ap Calculus AB exam, and aced every math class I've ever taken.

Math is often a daunting subject to students because of how cumulative it is. Failing to understand one concept ends up making every following topic even harder to comprehend. This is precisely why I emphasize the importance of mastering fundamentals and taking extra time and care as a tutor to ensure students grasp basic concepts that teachers will not bother to review in class.

I believe a I owe a lot of my success in math to the private tutor I had from the 5th-11th grade. Through her, I've been able to gain the skills necessary to not only understand the concept for myself, but to be able to explain it to others. Because I understand what it feels like to struggle through a concept until it FINALLY clicks, I'm incredibly passionate in helping other students reach that Eureka moment. With patience, understanding, and a teaching technique focused on catering to the student's learning style, I'm more than confident that Ansari Math will change the way you approach mathematics for the rest of your academic career.
