Mid-Level Advertising and Brand Specialist
As part of Boeings Global Brand and Advertising team, this position will be responsible for helping guide, develop and execute targeted product advertising campaigns, international advertising campaigns, and compelling air show and exhibit content.
Working closely with business unit brand and product specialists, and our outside agency partners, this position will provide expertise and guidance in translating business and product positioning strategies into effective integrated multi-media advertising communications. This includes the efficient and timely project management and execution of those programs.
Located in Renton, Washington this role focuses on the development of effective on-brand multi-media advertising communications with an emphasis on strategic functional expertise, project management and process.
As an Advertising functional lead, support Business Unit Brand, Product Marketing and Program Specialists in the development and execution of effective product advertising campaigns that position and differentiate our products in a manner consistent with our brand.
Coordinate with International leads in the development and execution of brand and partnership advertising for select international markets that meet Boeings local and global objectives.
Working with our agency partners, help define and shape our media and creative strategies to best reflect stated business objectives and efficiently help drive opinion and differentiation.
Act as the primary shows and exhibit marketing communications and brand focal for your assigned product portfolio. Manage the development and execution of strategic, on-brand content for large global events that involve product content or brand engagement.
Effective project management and execution, including managing the approvals process, of all assigned projects for on schedule and on budget completion.
Managing assigned advertising budget to include monthly invoice tracking and reconciliation, ensuring invoices and cost estimates track against the allotted resources.
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience.
5+ years in the development and production of multi-media advertising or marketing communications materials and content
3+ years developing and producing advertising assets (print, video, digital etc.
3+ years with media planning and buying
Advanced degree in a related field such as Business, Advertising, Marketing and/or Communications
Experience with marketing and branding activities in a large matrix enterprise requiring strong collaboration skills
Ability to articulate complex strategic ideas and provide actionable creative input.
Experience with advertising budget management Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work numerous projects simultaneously.
Ad/PR Agency Account Management or production experience preferred
