Compensation: $83K - $112K
Develops, interprets, and implements financial and accounting concepts, or techniques needed for both internal and external financial reporting by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Analyze financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, action and/or proper reporting classification.
Prepares reports that summarize company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, cash flow, and earnings based on past and present operations.
Provides interpretation and proper application of financial policies, governmental legislation or accounting principles as needed.
Actively participate in audit of company's accounts, including both preparation and review of audit schedules, and preparation of external audited financial statements.
Identifies trends and recommends improvements accordingly as it relates to existing accounting processes and both internal and external financial reporting.
Assist organization in the areas of acquisition accounting, review of various accounting work products, and other corporate financial requirements as needed.
Assume responsibility for company's internal financial reporting
Assist with both quarterly reporting and mid-year reporting as needed.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities at the present time.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and 5 to 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
A CPA certification or Masters degree is preferred.
