Compensation: $37K - $52K

Position Description:

Report directly and provide administrative assistance to designated Sales Manager. Maintain group bookings by providing customer support and executing customer requests.

Sales Coordinators are subject to perform the following duties on a DAILY basis and is not limited to the following:

Assist designated Sales Managers
Work an eight (8) hour shift with one (1) hour break
Process rooming lists and assist guests with changes
Process deposits and payments
Schedule Trace Report Meeting(s) with designated Sales Manager(s)
Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls to the appropriate staff or take detailed and accurate messages in their absence
Check office voicemail and distribute telephone messages
Distribute incoming Sales Department facsimiles and emails
Type correspondence, contracts and memos
Deliver and pick up Sales Department’s mail/correspondence twice per day or as needed
Secure payment information on all working files by follow all PCI compliance procedures
Other Duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience in a similar position preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Display strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Must be detail oriented
Knowledge of hotel/casino environment is strongly preferred
Obtain/maintain all necessary licenses and/or certifications
Be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute.
Knowledge of MS Office
