Responsibilities include:

-General ledger duties, especially balance sheet reconciliations (prepaid expenses, accrued receivables and payables, deferred income, and deferred taxes);

-Preparing tax workpapers and lead sheets for annual financial statement review;

-Generating property and sales tax returns for approval by the Corporate Controller;

-Working with Logistics Manager and Assistant Controller to reconcile inventory on monthly basis;

-Proposing process improvements and presenting same to Assistant Controller and Corporate Controller; and,

-Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations.


-Minimum 2 years' experience with QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing & Wholesale, including Advanced Inventory (this is non-negotiable)

-Advanced level at report generation in QuickBooks Enterprise

-Good Excel skills and ability to present data in logical, meaningful format

-Ability to communicate well in writing and verbally

-Restaurant experience recommended

-Minimum five years' recent work experience in one of the following industries: Manufacturing; E-Commerce; or retail (QuickBooks Point of Sale)
