Current Need- Sr. Implementation Consultant
Position Description
Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of clinical/ healthcare business problems to be solved with customers via automated systems and/or business processes. Responsible for implementing hospital capacity management solutions that meets customers needs including assessment of current and desired future state, integration and validation of source system data, configuration, build and testing of the system, design and delivery of customer training, and troubleshooting customer implementation issues. Supports change/scope management in projects. Actively identifies opportunities to increase customer adoption and use of solutions. Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of implementation methodology, artifacts and tools. Provides input to product management regarding the development/enhancement of solution functionality and reporting to meet customer needs. Contributes to the readiness of implementation services for solution version releases. Trains and mentors new employees and contributes to the development and maintenance of training materials.
Minimum Requirements


4 years experience in clinical/healthcare field, computer applications, or business analysis.


Critical Skills


Experience implementing enterprise wide software applications

Must have client facing experience

Experience presenting to all levels of leadership

Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems effectively

Experience teaching complex concepts/systems to adult learners

Clinical experience relevant to the use or implementation of enterprise wide software applications

Proficiency in MS Office solutions including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Project


Additional Knowledge & Skills


Experience implementing Healthcare Information, Patient Accounting, Staffing, or other analytics systems

General knowledge and understanding of overall hospital operations and/or clinical bed management/demand management processes

Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Critical-thinking and analytical skills

Clinical/Patient Care experience


Education


4-year degree in nursing or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience


Physical Requirements


Must be willing to travel 80> or more (often on short notice), work well both independently and as a member of a remote team, manage multiple projects at one time, adapt and meet the expectations of challenging customers, maintain current knowledge of system through certifications and training.
