JOB SUMMARY
The Real Estate Specialist position will serve a vital role in support of the Real Estate Records and Portfolio Management Leadership Team and serve as a primary focal point in managing and coordinating activities related to the Corporate Real Estate Department. Other responsibilities may include managing documentation and implementation of assigned corporate initiatives and supporting other Corporate Real Estate teams including Transactions and Planning, and Legal.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Responsible for issuing Certificates of Insurance to real estate Landlords for approx. 2,000 leased locations and serve as a primary point of contact for questions from Landlords
Create, manage, and distribute several important and time-sensitive transaction management reports, including monthly critical date reports, a transactions tracking tool, and a real estate market information pivot table report
Manage and distribute templates and intake forms for the transactions team; serve as primary contact for questions and training related to template updates and population of data
Create and update/implement department process documentation and SharePoint repository; coordinate and provide training around new processes as needed
Lead and manage special projects related to records management, database verification and clean up; assist with other department projects and initiatives as needed
Generate new property ID numbers upon request by transactions team; coordinate with Portfolio Administration team to create record in database
Manage access and permission levels for Real Estate database and perform security review audits on a quarterly basis
Provide research support to real estate teams and support partners including accounting, legal, and sustainability
Review, interpret, and summarize lease language in support of transaction management team
Interface with property owners, lease administration team, transactions and planning teams, property managers, and Legal Counsel
Ensure that corporate real estate guidelines, policies and procedures are followed; provide governance and oversight to real estate teams
Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Effective communication and computer skills
Demonstrated abilities in a variety of real estate areas such as: transaction management, strategic planning, financial analysis and project/construction management
Demonstrable experience in managing multiple assignments in multiple geographies
Knowledge of the industry standards
Results oriented with proven organization skills
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training, education and experience

The pay for this position has a salary range of $50,500.00 to $80,500.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
