A Project Manager is needed for leading telecommunications organization. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating schedules, material logistics, overseeing sub trades, and verifying work quality for structured cabling, security, VOIP, DAS and related telecommunication infrastructure projects. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years? of related telecommunications Project Management experience, and proficiency with Excel. Technicians seeking to transition in a project manager role will be considered. A RCDD Certification and proficiency with MS Project are highly preferred. Candidates can anticipate 75-80% travel within a few hours of their home base. This is a direct hire role located in southern Charlotte, NC metro area. Our client is only seeking local talent at this time.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager
Interface with team and lead daily project management meetings
Conduct bid reviews, estimating, and risk management evaluations
Track project cost and schedule
Conduct site visits and evaluate quality of work performed by technicians and sub contractors
Update client on project progression, conduct conflict resolution as needed
Requirements for the Project Manager
2+ years? of related telecommunications Project Management experience for structured cabling, data centers, DAS and small cell networks, security, VOIP, CATC, and related projects
An AS degree is preferred
RCDD Certification and proficiency with MS Project are highly preferred, proficiency with Excel is required
Candidates must be willing to travel 75% of the time within a few hour radius
Candidate must have strong customer service skills
