Job Summary:

Human Resources and Administration Assistant to coordinate and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR and Administrative activities.

Job Responsibilities:
· Assist with the coordinating and the administration of various aspects of the organization’s compensation and benefit, recruitment, orientation, payroll and employee relations programs
· Assist with the staff recruitment and selection process (placing ads, interviewing, processing applications, contacting managers, provide feedback regarding the candidates, handling selection process tasks)
· Maintenance of accurate records for individual employees regarding pay rates, shift details, promotions, transfers, sick leave, etc.
· Update employee spread sheets
· Filing
· Attendance tracking and corresponding disciplinary action
· Assist with processing for Airport Credential and Department of Homeland Security Applications and renewals.
· Order supplies and uniforms as needed.
· Other Administrative duties, such as handling incoming phone calls and various tasks and projects as may be assigned
Qualifications and Competencies :
· Up to 1 year HR and/or accounting experience preferred, willing to train applicant with excellent administrative skills
· Basic knowledge of local labor laws will be considered an advantage
· Computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Excellent interpersonal skills with professional phone etiquette
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure
· Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Demonstrated ability to innovate and support change
· Attention to detail, timeliness and deadlines
· Ability to follow processes and procedures
· Organized
More Specific to the role and position @ MDW:

Daily Into-plane data entry and reconciliation

· USB sent to dispatch each evening

· Run reports in Varec to check the accuracy of your entries

· Into-plane month-end closing

· Customs and badging for new hires and renewals

· Uniform ordering and distribution

· Filing

Kitchen and Office Supply – keep management updated on what’s needed and storing of these items

· Assist with setup and cleanup of meetings

CBP Quarterly Report (January 31, April 30, July 31 and October31)

Update Personnel List

New Hire Onboarding and Paperwork

· Schedule drug screenings

· Prepare paperwork for customs and badging

· Order uniforms

· Add employee to door security, time clock and parking list/pass Remove employee from door security and get parking pass back

· Print out all our policies and local forms to provide to Candidate

· Administrative support and backup for the Office Manager
· Administrative support for the Operations Manager and General Manager
· Other duties as assigned
