Today, we represent more than 60,000 clients worldwide in more than 100 countries around the world on trademark and intellectual property matters.

We are looking for entry level Trademark Legal Assistant to help collect and request retainers from new and existing Firm clients for office actions and statement of use filings. You will be reporting to the Attorney Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Minimum 50+ outbound calls and emails per day for outbound sales.

Research and demonstrate knowledge of the unique business challenges facing our clients.
Be able to effectively communicate substantive general legal knowledge.
Demonstrate strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Develop and manage a docket account pipeline in order to consistently hit key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage a client portfolio that involves various participants and intellectual property solutions in order to maintain a continuous pipeline of opportunities.
Follow all ethical guidelines set by the Firm's management against the unauthorized practice of law. DO NOT give legal advice!
Demonstrate an ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Conduct presentations, write proposals and demonstrate effective and clear business communication.
Maintain relevant, up-to-date data of client portfolios within the companys CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be comfortable with consistent client communication, inside sales, and outbound calling.
Must be firm yet courteous and compassionate in explaining the Firm's position with respect to difficult issues.
Preferred 1 - 3 years of account management experience with inside sales, telemarketing, and business development.
Experience selling service solutions to small, midsize and large businesses through a web-based platform or in a related technology-based field preferred.

Demonstrated consultative sales experience delivering non-tangible services and solutions to leadership in the business sector.
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required. Equal education and experience will be considered.
A desire to work in the legal field a plus.
