Goodwill of the Heartland ? Cedar Rapids Center,
seeks a full-time Human Resources Manager as an addition to our HR team who will provide general guidance on employment issues, approval and guidance to supervisors on performance appraisals and Personnel Action Forms, timely and accurate response to unemployment claims, and compliance oversight for the department's administrative responsibilities.
The HR Manager will also assist with policy development, recruiting strategy, and a variety of HR projects. Goodwill of the Heartland has approximately 650 team members in our SE Iowa/Western IL territory.
This position reports to the HR Director and supervises 3 HR team members. Two years related experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field are required. PHR or SHRM-CP and one year of direct supervision are preferred. Successful candidates will have demonstrated superior customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Accuracy, attention to detail, along with the ability to exercise good judgement are also critical to success.
The schedule will be Monday through Friday and as required. Starting salary range is $45,683 - $50,650 annually.
