Global lead for Equinix HR team on all M&A activity, leading coordinated project management and delivery across all HR workstream activities. Ability to work with the broader M&A team to translate the business needs to the employee/HR strategy. Leverage industry best practices and start build out of HR playbook for M&A. In the immediate term, work within the Americas HR Business Partner team to support M&A activity.

This role is a fixed-term position through the end of 2020. Benefits will be provided during this time.

Responsibilities
Global accountability for ensuring the HR track for all M&A activities are appropriately resourced, risks managed & plans developed and that the playbook is utilized
Orchestrating all global M&A deals from due diligence through to integration, leading global M&A and integration efforts across HR COE functions, and working with regional Project Managers based on location / region for M&A deal.
Work closely with HR leadership and Corp Dev/M&A team to develop employee/HR strategy for specific M&A deals and execute project management and integrate plans accordingly.
Be the point of contact for project communications across cross-functional HR M&A project team as well as the broader M&A team.
Develop comprehensive project plans for due diligence through to integration and manage all downstream implications to completion.
Develop HR M&A playbook.
Track, monitor, report, participate in the entire cycle of M&A projects from due diligence through integration.
Create reports, presentations, analyze data, complete templates, respond to requests for information
Coordinate all project-level measurement and reporting
Maintain program-wide approaches to plans and procedures
Partner with HR functions – client facing HR Business Partners, Compensation, corporate PMO office, benefits, HR shared service center, HR systems, and others to ensure that all HR M&A activities are delivered
Complete post-program reviews, provide feedback and required needs for future projects
Manage and direct the work of a small team of HR M&A resources
Qualifications
10+ Years’ experience in M&A Project Management; with 5+ years’ experience working within HR on global Mergers & Acquisitions preferred
Diploma to a Bachelor's degree preferred
Must be extremely well-organized with very strong attention to detail
Ability to think in terms of broader business implications, including tactical, strategic, and enterprise dependencies, with an awareness of the up/downstream requirements of HR, functions and the business
Understanding of the HR function, the COE/HRBP/Regional structure and responsibilities and the HR business cycle
Demonstrated track record of tackling complex business problems and creating viable solutions
Must work well in small and large, and highly matrixed group environments
Capability to facilitate effectively and track record of working well in matrixed, collaborative environment
Ability to explain complex ideas and processes simply (verbally and written)
Ability to work in project details, and turn that into a high-level overview for a broad/executive audience
Breadth across the corporate enterprise with the ability to connect the dots between functions and processes
Must be willing to roll up sleeves and be involved in the details where needed
Track record of successfully coaching and guiding others during high pressure, highly ambiguous situations
Must be adept at quickly assessing and changing plans/priorities, and working simultaneously on numerous projects
Experience leading/managing large scale projects and programs
Technically competent with MS office and other program management tools
Possess excellent verbal and writing skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
