FoodChasers' Kitchen is a restaurant located in Philadelphia owned by Dr. Maya Johnstone and Dr. Kala Johnstone, two respected authors and former school principals who have made the leap of faith to pursue their dream of owning a restaurant. Thirteen years ago they created a menu and daydreamed about opening a restaurant one day. Shortly after that, they started their social media account FoodChasers to share great food from around the world, as well as their own homemade dishes like fried catfish, philly cheesesteaks and chicken wings. Their passion for chasing new cuisines and sharing their cooking with others led to the birth of FoodChasers' Kitchen.

At FoodChasers' Kitchen you will find delicious brunch and lunch, options like salmon cheesesteak, shrimp and grits, buttermilk biscuits and french toast that will surely leave the whole family satisfied. In addition to the restaurant, FoodChasers’ also offers drop off and event catering for celebrations of all kinds.

Not only does FoodChasers' Kitchen provide food for its local community but also has a philanthropic arm through which they partner with inner-city schools to fund therapeutic calming spaces for students and teachers; offer book scholarships to graduating seniors; sponsor class trips; as well as several other charitable projects donating to school staff members and students.
