Doggie Daycare Coordinator

VCA Wellington Animal Hospital has an immediate opening for an individual to lead our Daycare team as the Daycare Coordinator.

As the Daycare Coordinator, you are responsible for the following:

Supervise Daycare Yards
Monitor Dog Behavior
Oversee Daycare Associates
Conduct Daycare Evaluations
Spearhead Daycare Programs
K9 Placement for Daycare Dogs
Complete Daycare Report Cards
Respond to Client Inquiries and Concerns
Ensure Appropriate Staffing and Training for Daycare Associates
General Animal Care and Handling Experience
Strong Communication Skills In-Person, By Phone, Client/Patient Charts and
Via Text and Email.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Basic Typing Skills
Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment
Preferred Qualifications

2+ years Veterinary or Boarding Facility experience.
2+ years Supervisory experience in an animal-related field.

Required experience

6 months to one year of Supervisory experience.
1+ year of Veterinary Assistant/ Technician Experience OR 2+ years Boarding Facility/ Kennel Experience
