Baltimore Country Club is seeking a Director of Private Events who is organized and passionate about planning and facilitating private events. The overall responsibility of the Director would be performing and leading the private events team in attracting, securing, planning and facilitating events, such as weddings, corporate events and social events. The Director would also be a participating member of the Club's executive leadership team.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with the ability to lead and nurture long term relationships while attracting, securing and overseeing private events for the Club. Specific skills, abilities and qualifications of the Director include:


Working at a high-level of attention to detail and organization

Communicating effectively

Effectively partnering with all departments in the planning and execution of events

Attending functions to meet hosts and ensure everything is as expected and adjust as needed

Maintaining and updating accurate files and billing

Budget development and management to increase event sales

Assist the client to develop a menu, floorplan, timeline

Oversee the Private Events Manager and Events Assistant

Having a Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field or related experience

Having a proficiency in Microsoft office and event software


This individual must be committed to excellence, be an exceptional communicator, creative and well organized with an attention to detail and able to be successful in working with the Food & Beverage Services and Culinary Services teams and all other departments involved in creating, developing and hosting events.
