Entry-level Customer Service Representative - Insurance Agency

We are a local insurance agency seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative. We will train on systems and product knowledge, and there are opportunities to grow both your knowledge and income with a potential for base wage plus commissions once licensed as an insurance producer.

As a small office, attitude and motivation are critical, you must be self-motivated and able to get along and work well with our team. We are team focused, and this will start as a support role to help our licensed sales staff perform their tasks. You must be willing to take ownership of tasks and resolve problems, and show initiative in learning new skills and improving processes.

The ideal candidate is well organized, a great note taker who can learn multiple systems quickly, and be able to multi-task and input data with excellent accuracy. Bilingual or multilingual is a huge plus, especially in Mandarin.

The job includes answering the phones, data input, paperwork filing, payment handling, and providing awesome customer service in a fast-paced environment. You must have excellent written and spoken English, 90% of the job is working with customers by phone and by e-mail.

Our hours are 9AM-5PM M-F with a paid 30 minute lunch. Full time position with medical insurance and a 401K after 60 days. Schedule includes several paid holidays and 1 week paid vacation to start. Compensation starts at $30k and up DOE, this is an entry-level position with opportunity for rapid growth.
