Understand the companys marketing objectives and target audience (CFOs/finance leadership and CPOs/procurement executives) as well as secondary audiences (CIOs / technology leaders)
Research, write, and edit engaging and grammatically correct copy for thought leadership and demand generation, including eBooks, reports, infographics, scripts, print, web, and other marketing needs
Update and manage website content, and create/edit copy for new pages on the site
Create campaign assets including emails, landing pages and ads for each asset created by Content Marketing, Partner Marketing and Analyst Marketing
In partnership with Director of Content and Director of Customer Marketing, produce written and video case studies (customer testimonials / stories) for our website, conferences, demand generation and sales teams
20% Travel Required
2+ years as a content marketer or professional writer -- or a talented writer with experience in procurement, supply chain, and/or business finance, seeking a career move
Naturally curious and interested in gaining a rich understanding of business practices and related topics
Proven experience interviewing experts and producing content based on knowledge gathered
Highly collaborative and able to work well with different types of people
Talent for writing high-quality and engaging copy quickly, at the pace of a daily newsroom
Comfortable with numbers and making sense of data, and/or partnering with the appropriate internal and third-party resources to identify relevant data and data-driven stories for marketing content
Ability to script engaging copy about business finance and spend management
Visual communicator -- awareness and appreciation of composition, color and general layout a plus
