Kennedy/Jenks Consultants is an employee-owned, full-service engineering and environmental sciences consulting firm, serving private and public sector clients throughout the United States. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Honolulu office to assist with project, office administrative support and marketing tasks.
What you'll be doing: You will be the communications hub for our office, and will be the first impression of our firm for callers and visitors. Daily tasks may include
Reception and answering multiple telephone lines
Maintaining office security
Ordering and maintaining appropriate levels of supplies
Arranging catering needs
Handling mail, deliveries and shipping packages
Coordinating travel arrangements
Managing equipment such as telephones, copiers, and printers
Processing expense reports
Power Point presentations
Editing and preparing (graphics, tables, figures, photos) various engineering reports, specifications, and contracts
Coding/processing vendor invoices
Assisting with various administrative duties as assigned and designated by Office Manager and Operations Manager
Provide back-up support on projects/deliverables
Travel to the outer island for day trips may also be a part of this position.
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Evening or weekend hours may be required from time to time.
What you'll need:
At least one year of experience in a similar position
Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
Demonstrated punctuality, professionalism, the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills are required
