This position is responsible for the timely entry and processing of corporate employee related expense reimbursements. Critical to payment of all employee-related payments is review of expenses to the expense reimbursement policy, review for appropriate documentation and receipts, signature approval, and account and cost center/dept id classification. This position is responsible for problem resolution, denying expenses outside of policy, and working with internal partners to ensure that all expenses are reimbursed timely.Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Process payments, general ledger entries, suspense entries, and other transactional processing
Daily balancing of accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Prepare account reconciliations
Research and follow up on reconciliation items and aged requests to ensure timely and accurate money movement
Accountable for maintaining proper separation of duties and internal control procedures
Support corporate, divisional and departmental projects as requested to implement Thrivent’s strategic plans
Completes regulatory forms and filings.
Assists in improving processes and process documentation

Required Job Qualifications

Associates degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience
1-3 years related experience preferred
