The Club Clerk Accountant reports to the Club Controller. Accounting Clerk responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. The Accounting Clerk will also run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. Ensure that the Clubs daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.

Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting departmentPerform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Club policies and proceduresType accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and recordsPrepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statementsReconcile accounts in a timely mannerEnter key data of financial transactions in databaseProvide assistance and support to company personnelResearch, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepanciesFunction in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable lawsStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The work for this position is conducted in an office environment. The noise level in this environment is usually moderate.
